Character Description: Echo
Echo was the most recent incarnation of a special type of Duldum called "The Echoes", created as a split personality within Noise from an extension of Duldee's power in order to shelter Noise's heart from the power of the Abyss that it could not withstand. Even though Echo attempted to put Noise's mind to sleep as her predecessors had done, Noise's heart continued to crack gradually, causing Noise's to lose herself piece by piece. While Noise filled the emptiness in her heart with imitations of those closest to her, Echo did as her predecessors had done and took in the pieces of Noise's heart that she'd lost, intent on returning them to Noise when she could do so.
She was Vincent Nightray's servant. She was created 13 years ago by Duldee, that makes Zwei her contractor.
Note: The Japanese Wikipedia page of PandoraHearts says her age is “physically 13 years old” (“物理的に 13歳”), while the Japanese Guidebook Pandora Hearts 8.5: Mine of Mine shows her age as “16-year-old (self-proclaimed)” (“16歳 (自称)”). Additionally, the Japanese Wikipedia page says her height is 196cm (身長：169 cm) while the guidebook says her height is 160cm (身長... 160 cm).
