Character Description: Velvet Scarlatina
Velvet Scarlatina, like Blake Belladonna, is a Faunus attending Beacon Academy in her second year. However, unlike Blake, the knowledge that she's a Faunus is well-known, as she doesn't disguise the large rabbit ears on her head. This has led to some rather scathing instances of racist teasing by Cardin Winchester, the leader of Team CRDL, not to mention initial mistrust by Weiss Schnee, but Weiss has modified her feelings towards her ever since she found-out that Blake is a Faunus.
Quiet and shy, Velvet is a very modest girl. As a member of Team CFVY, she is very valued, mostly for her martial arts skills. She also has a small handbag which holds her weapon, but team leader Coco Adel has yet to let her use it.
