Character Profile: Ann

Ann, together with Alan, came to Earth with a goal: survival. The Doom Tree they had brought with them was in need of energy...and so were they. Taking on a human form, she becomes a girl about the same age as the Sailor Scouts and becomes a student in Serena's class, claiming to be a foreign transfer.

Then, as she walks down the street one afternoon, she lays eyes on Darien...and her heart goes thumpety-thump. She becomes obsessed with winning over Darien...but she has a problem: Serena. She would love to sap her energy...but Alan's fallen for her, creating a tangled double love triangle that would have Alan and herself almost going for each other's throats. It's only their mutual concern for the Doom Tree (and with it, their continued survival) that keeps their rage in check.

For Ann, however, rage is hard to control. She can easily become angry, impulsive, and irrational...and possessive. But in the end, she realizes that her true feelings are for Alan. Sensing the danger when the Doom Tree went crazy, she makes a noble gesture and takes a deadly thorn meant for Alan.

But once Sailor Moon cleanses the evil from the Doom Tree, some pure energy flows into Ann, reviving her and allowing her and Alan to heal the friction between them.
