Character Description: Diana
With as little fanfare as her charge, Diana stumbles into the present day and almost raises a stink until Rini recognizes her. Diana is the daughter of Luna and Artemis, and she has been granted permission to join Rini in the present day, both to keep an eye on her (and the rest of the gang) and to gain valuable real-life experiences. She's eager to take on her tasks, and the others are patient enough to help her get used to the present day.
Diana first appeared in Sailor Moon Super S, and started Luna and Artemis fighting with each other when they think Diana is only Artemis' daughter. But eventually they find out that they are both the parents of this adorable little grey kitten, and there is a lot of making up and blushing by the two older cats.
In the manga, Tin Nyanko says that they are creatures from the planet Mau. Tin Nyanko was Sailor Mau but Sailor Galaxia took her Star Seed and made her into an Animate. None of this is ever mentioned in the anime.
