Alice is Lain's classmate and her only true friend all the way through the 13 episode series. Alice has a very simple and sincere personality. She really cares for Lain
In the Layer 02: Girls, Alice invites Lain on a girls night out. A man shoots himself and at the police station Alice cries and sobs and tells Lain how sorry she is. Also when Reika teases Lain, Alice is always the one to stand up for Lain.
