Character Profile: Dark Oak

This character is basically two characters in one: Dark Oak and his true identity, Luke.

Dark Oak is a mysterious leader who guides the Metarex in their quest to take over the whole galaxy by stealing Planet Eggs from every planet they go to. He is capable of challenging even the power of Super Sonic and operates behind the scenes. He is one of the five Metarex Kings, the other four being Red Pine, Pale Bay Leaf, Yellow Zelkova, and Black Narcissus, all of which are actually Thorndigrans in their Meta-forms. He has purple armor and two flowing torn capes attached to his shoulder pads. He has a large green eye and carries a large golden sword. He gives command over all of the Metarex, especially the other four Metarex Kings.

Secretly, Dark Oak has a true identity which is in fact none other than Luke, a Thorndigran (Male Seedlian). Luke is a proud member of the Seedlian Council who has an equivalent ambition to Hertia, but unlike her, he prefers to fight first and ask questions later. He was a brilliant scientist from Seedlius-Flora, Cosmo's home world. Sadly, he is also the one behind the whole Metarex mess, and that's how he became known as Dark Oak. Like all other Thorndigrans, Luke was also capable of transforming into his super-form, which was a huge Godzilla-like monster.

Dark Oak is the villain in season 3 in the TV series of Sonic X. He first appears in episode 53 when he was fighting Super Sonic in orbit.

Super Sonic wasn't able to defeat him, then he used chaos control to send the chaos emeralds away so Dark Oak couldn't steal them. Oak told his forces to find the chaos emeralds and send the Metarex to remove the planet egg from Sonic's home planet.
