I beat Rygar (NES) without dying! I had this as a kid but this is the first time I beat it without dying. I think it's actually one of the easier NES games I had. Unlimited continues with re-spawns on the current stage, no tricky platforming, and once you get powered up you can make quick work of just about any enemy, including bosses. Really fun action/adventure game and not too challenging.

I beat Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle (SNES) on Expert difficulty using male Ranma Saotome! I've never been great at fighting games so this was quite a challenge. I didn't realize it was a fighting game when I picked it, I just wanted to try a Ranma 1/2 game since I love the anime so much. There were a couple characters in the game I didn't remember, Gosunkugi and Gambling King, and was shocked that Tatewaki Kuno wasn't in the game since he's a very prominent character in the anime.

I beat Ninja Gaiden (NES) using only the sword and no continues! I owned this as a kid and it is one tough game even with the secondary weapons! The enemy respawns are crazy and it's so easy to die just from getting knocked off of a ledge. After beating it normally I didn't think there'd be any way I could do a no-continue run so instead I challenged myself to do it without using any sub-weapons. Having no projectiles or spin-slash to rely on makes certain sections extremely challenging. I finally succeeded last week and then last night did it without using any continues.
