Character Description: Dox

The ParaDox Brothers are twins from China who later began to travel around the world dueling together to be the best. After hard work and many duels they in fact did become the best at something: Tag Team Dueling, which later became actual tournaments.

This guy is brothers with Para, so together, they're called the Paradox brothers. The first time they appear is when Yugi and the gang get locked up in the maze after Joey beat Bandit Keith. The gang finds a big tag duel arena and the brothers show up, flipping and doing tricks while speaking in couplets, each doing one line at a time. There are two doors behind them, one leading to an eternal maze while the other leads to freedom. The brothers challenge them to a tag duel, and if Yugi and Joey won, they would have a chance to pick a door. They get into the duel, which turns out to be a labyrinth field.

In the middle, the brothers confuse Joey by telling him that one lies and one speaks the truth. Yugi sets Joey straight by saying that it was impossible for both to agree that one told lies and one told truths, so they settled on the duel.

The brothers' most salient monster is the Gate Guardian, composed of Sanga of the Thunder, Suijin of Water, and Kazejin of Wind.

At the door picking, Yugi tricks the brothers with two coins, one marked with "mei," Para's door, and "kyu," Dox's door. He says that the one he catches in his hand will be the one they pick. Of course, one of the coins is marked on both sides and Yugi reveals that the brothers are able to switch what is behind the doors, so they manage to go free.

The second time they pop up is in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, but just as a pair of tag duelists hired to take out Jaden Yuki and Syrus Truesdale, but for those who don't like spoilers, I will speak no more.
