Character Description: Jean-Claude Magnum
Jean Claude Magnum is a famous actor who stars in ninja movies. Joey is his biggest fan, however Jean Claude is much more interested in Mai.
When Mai worked at a casino, she beat Magnum in a duel, and he in return asked for her hand in marriage. She refused, but teasingly added that she would marry him if he could beat her in a duel.
During Battle City, Magnum challenged Mai, and if she lost, she had to marry him. Joey refused for her, but Mai accepted, wanting to teach Magnum a lesson. In the Japanese version, Joey wanted Mai to accept the proposal at first. I'm not sure if it's the same way in the English version.
Magnum plays mostly ninja cards that can special summon other ninjas, but Mai beats him. However, one of his cards was not a hologram, and it abducts Mai. Joey comes to her rescue, and the finals commence.
