Character Description: Chief Tanaka
Chief Tanaka is one of the few people who know the secret of the 8-Man project. He ends up with a handful when his men take down an ex-cop turned maniac cyborg killer. His and Hazama's interests soon coincided, and the chief didn't like it. He still remembers when Hazama had killed 7 men, including 3 crooked cops, and that night when Hazama ran away from him chasing down Tony Glek. To have to work with him again makes his blood boil.
Then comes another strange turn. Hazama had sustained fatal injuries, and Dr. Tine had made what he thought was a crazy suggestion. But he eventually agreed. Soon after, 8-Man returned. Chief Tanaka played the innocent. He's had experience. He also appreciates the better behavior. He WAS curious about the incident at the stadium, but Dr. Tine explains.
He ultimately has the man he didn't like to thank for the key efforts in clearing the case.
