Character Description: Takashi
Takashi is another of the series in the army's experiment. He is actually BEFORE AKIRA, hence the 25 compared to Akira's 28. Takashi is not a cold child, but he is VERY timid, and when frightened, scared, or hurt, his powers usually go wild and he causes some sort of accident, like Tetsuo's crash. He likes to watch TV, especially shows with dogfighting, which the Colonel will not allow him to see because he doesn't want him to get excited (for a VERY good reason!).
He starts to fight back against Tetsuo, along with Masaru and Kiyoko. At the end, he gathers his courage and sacrifices himself (in which Masaru and Kiyoko follow) to keep the vortex from spreading and destroying the entire world.
