Character Description: Rika Suzuki
Originally a native of the city of Kobe, Rika Suzuki is also a survivor of the 1995 earthquake there. Sometime after settling in Tokyo, she had gotten annoyed by people asking her about her experience with the quake. As a result, she vowed never to mention that fact again. She even took pains to lose the Kansai accent in her voice.
But upon meeting her co-worker Emi Yusa, Rika found that the girl accepted her for just being her and didn't ask about her past. But when Emi refused Rika's invitations to go out, she became curious about her relationship with Sadao, thinking that they're a couple. She even found Sadao's roommate Ashiya interesting, as well as assuring him of his role as the apartment's housekeeper, but Ashiya hasn't noticed her affections.
