Character Profile: Mikoto Utsugi

Utsugi is the computer operator for the GGG Mobile Forces Section. She is the woman in charge of sending the signals to the various mecha for combining or for special weapon usage (Dividing Driver, Eraser Head, etc.). The fact that she loves Gai almost gets in the way of her pressing the button that allows him to form GaoGaiGar, but her true determination and faith gets her through.

In high school, Mikoto and Gai were serious. Before Gai left to join the Space Development Corporation to become a pilot, she handed him an amulet to always remember her by. Gai has since then always kept it with him for strength. And even though Gai is now 90 percent cyborg, they still stay together.
