Character Description: Naoko Kuroda

Naoko Kuroda attends the same school as Mai Taniyama, and regards herself having psychic powers, which includes the ability to sense spirits. However, most of the students regard her as being a freak, which causes her to try to get attention by making the claims of her powers.

Kuroda was accompanying Shibuya Psychic Research when the company was called to investigate alleged spirits inhabiting the original school building next door to the school, which was being demolished to make room for new improvement. When she heard that Naru was at the school investigating the building, she tried to impress herself upon him, but was coldly shot down by him. But later, several unexplained happenings began to occur, despite Naru's theory that the 'hauntings' were actually being caused by the building gradually collapsing under unstable ground, with Kuroda believing a poltergeist was haunting the building.

It wasn't until later on when it was discovered that Kuroda was actually the poltergeist that caused much of the trouble, possibly because for her need for attention. Apparently Kuroda had hidden psychic abilities that she triggered subconsciously whenever doubts about her expressed 'abilities' were put into question. For the good of everyone, Naru informed the school that the 'poltergeists' had been exorcised.
