Character Profile: The Major

Originally a minor officer in Nazi Germany's Schutzstaffel (SS), the Major is the founder and leader of Millennium, which was formed during World War II under Order 666. The purpose: to create vampires to insure Germany's victory and the maintenance of Hitler's "Thousand-year Reich". However, those early plans were thwarted by Alucard and a teen-aged Walter C. Dollnez, when the two destroyed Millennium's laboratories. However, the Major, along with a select group of SS officers, managed to escape into hiding in Brazil, while continuing to work in creating vampires.

It was the Major... with the help of the Doctor... that was responsible for creating the FREAK chip which has plagued England and much of the world with ultra-violent pseudo-vampires, as well as ordering the Valentine Brothers to attack the Hellsing Organization and decimating its army. However, the Major's agenda is quite different from the Nazis' original play for vampires. He doesn't even care about conquest... just in war. He loves war, and wants to use the vampires he creates to plunge the world into a morass of never-ending war!
