Character Profile: Archbishop Makube

Archbishop Makube is the head of Section XIII Iscariot Organization thirty years after the attack by Millennium and Iscariot that had nearly destroyed London. It is not clear how he got the huge scar across his face, but it is quite possible he is a regenerator, much like Alexander Anderson and Heinkel Wolfe. Unlike his predecessor Enrico Maxwell, he appears to be more level-headed that him.

Makube, as well as Wolfe and another Iscariot agent, was in the gym where Sir Integra, under the watchful eye of Seras Victoria, was engaged in a fencing match with Sir Gregory Penwood, the grandson of Sir Shelby Penwood and Sir Integra's eventual successor in a government-run vampire hunting organization. Sir Integra objected to the Iscariots having 'the run of the manor' and kindly asked them to leave, which they did. While leaving, Makube made a comment to his companions that, while Iscariot was still recovering from the events of thirty years prior, within three centuries they will be able to again engage in a crusade to retake England in the name of the Catholic Church.
