Character Profile: Patrick Campbell

At four years old, Pat Campbell was possibly the youngest person on board the Liebe Delta prior to its destruction. Most likely someone as young as Pat would never have been allowed on the space station in the first place, but Pat's father, Mr. Campbell, a teacher on board the Liebe Delta, had brought his son along.

When the Liebe Delta went down, Mr. Campbell was among the instructors who perished, leaving a fatherless Pat wandering the Ryvius hoping and waiting for his father's return. Later, at Juli's announcement stating that the teachers were killed, Pat was shell-shocked, unable to believe his father was dead, and wouldn't believe it until Juli took him in hand and told him personally.

Pat moved into the four-person dormitory-bedroom occupied by Juli and two other female members of the Zwei, much to the chagrin of Lucson, who demanded why was Juli attempting to disrupt the morals of the ship by allowing a boy to sleep in her dorm. Ironically, Lucson was made Pat's guardian after the Zwei's demotion, although Pat dislikes Lucson and prefers Juli's company.
