Character Profile: Lucson Houjou

Short, arrogant and pompous, Lucson Houjou comes from a long line of pilots and is fully determined to carry on the tradition. Yet for all his blustering, Lucson is no hero and certainly can't tell when he's been beaten. Even after Blue selected Juli Bahana, the most experienced and respected person on the Zwei, as the group's new captain, Lucson stubbornly held on to his old title, and often complains to the point of his fellow Zwei booting him out of the bridge out of sheer irritation. He has now been regulated to floor-mopper, mess cook, and caretaker to young Pat Campbell, but he still has his (albeit overbearing) pride.
