Description: M.U.S.C.L.E.
"I won't even need the push of my farts!" "I have no idea what that means, but what confidence!"
The story is about Kinniku Suguru, a superhero. A bad one that is. He always gets beaten up by kaiju and chows down gyudon ("All I need is gyudon for the 300 years, It's fast and delicious and kinda cheap!"). One day, a alien named Meat comes and tells him that he is the long lost prince lost by mistaking a pig for their son. The Planet Kinniku produces the best Chojin (Heroes) in the universe. He is a clumsy fool so he decides to enter wrestling competitions and battles evil Chojin to prove himself worthy of the throne, which culminates in a final battle against 5 pretenders for the throne. Many of Kinnikuman's friends were once villains (Ramenman, Buffoloman, Ashuraman and Warsman) or arrogant heroes (Terryman, Robin Mask and Rikishiman).
The kinkishi (small, eraser-like toys) toys were released in the US as M.U.S.C.L.E. (Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere) in the 80s. You may remember them from your childhood. The sequel series, Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy was imported here by 4Kids in one of their few good dubs.
