Character Profile: Mayura Daidouji

Mayura is the enthusiastic president of the school's Mystery Club. She first became interested in mysteries when her mother gave her a book called Detective Nyanko. Her mother passed away from illness and she's been living with her father since then.

Her love for mysteries eventually led her into finding a talking doll in a clock tower. However, a black cat took the doll away and Mayura, while searching for it, found herself going to a detective agency. That was how Mayura first met Loki.

Mayura forced Loki to accept her as his new assistant and goes to his detective agency everyday after school in hopes of learning about a new mystery. She follows Loki on most of his jobs, but either gets in the way or ends up unable to actively participate (like falling asleep) so Loki looks at her as a sort of burden. However, even Loki has to admit that Mayura can be useful at times.

Freyr has taken a strong liking to Mayura and calls her his Yamato Nadeshiko.

Mayura cannot see spirits and does not know that Loki is actually a God.
