Character Profile: Tadashi Nanase

Tadashi Nanase is Narue and Kanaka's father. He was a member of the Galactic Federation Inspection Team sent to Earth 15 years ago to investigate humans to find what makes them "tick". He was about to finish his work when he was suddenly recalled, since the Federation, on their own, came up with a policy that Earth should left alone, meaning, no alien intervention or presence whatsoever. Thinking that the Federation would terminate him, he jumped off a ravine into a river.

He was rescued by a young woman, Narumi Mutsuki, who would later become Narue's mother. His decision to stay and live on Earth has been causing problems for the Federation Inspection Team, since terrorists from other planets want to implement the "non-intrusion" policy on Earth in violent ways, namely forcibly removing/eliminating the Nanase family from Earth.
