Character Profile: Misae Ikari

Keiichi Ikari's wife, Misae doesn't make an appearance until episode 11 where she confronts Lil' Slugger at her house. She deeply loves her husband and helps him escape back to reality before she dies.

It's also revealed that she was too weak to bear children. She and Keiichi did have a baby girl, however their child died shortly after birth. She didn't want an operation for what she claimed was just to prolong her life (which explains why Lil' Slugger appeared to her). However, after thinking about what she would be doing to her husband, she changes her mind, but she dies shortly after.
