Otaku Box Review: Otaku Box for June 2024
I apologize for the tardiness of this review, I was out of town when both this and the May box arrived.
The 1/9 scale figure in this month's box is the sexy Yor Forger from the anime SPY x FAMILY. I haven't seen that one yet so don't know who the character is but she is a total smoke show in her red lingerie with black trim. Her bra is a separate piece but it isn't removable unless you want to cut the strap on the back.
There is no smaller super-deformed figure as those have been replaced with a metal trading card. I really don't understand these as they're hard to see what's on them unless the light hits it at the right angle but apparently a lot of people voted to have them instead so people must like them.
The other big item in the box is a black baseball cap with a sexy Cyberpunk lady on the front in a skintight outfit. I frequently were hats so love this pack in, especially since it has that thick fabric in the front to keep its shaped. Hats without those always look so floppy, especially on people like me with no hair to help hold the hat's shape. I also like that it has a curved brim, I've never been a fan of how flat brim hats look on me.
The t-shirt is white with a black and white drawing of Akeno from High School DxD in some sexy AF outfit that leaves little of her chest to the imagination. It reminds of my Mai's outfit from Fatal Fury 2 only skimpier. I'm glad it's in black in white as if it was in color I think it'd be too much to wear out in public.
The wall scroll is Power from the anime Chainsaw Man in a super sexy nurse outfit with the front unbuttoned from the top of her cleavage completely down to her waist. The outfit ends mid-thigh which works perfect with her thigh-high stockings. I can easily see why this poster was the art vote winner. I just wish the box would come with an easy way to hang these up.
The other inclusions in the box area bottle opener, keychain, sticker, and trading card. The bottle opener features Erza Scarlet (and her cleavage) from the anime Fairy Tail. I love the colors on this and it feels solid but I think I'll just hang mine up since our can opener has a bottle opener attached. The keychain is of a busty waitress serving mugs of beer and says "Kanpai". It's one of those cool 3D designs that changes her expression when you angle it. The sticker is of Chisato Hasegawa in her lingerie from the anime The Testament of Sister New Devil. The trading card is Meroune Lorelei from the anime Monster Musume AKA Daily Life With A Monster wearing a bikini top that barely covers anything.
There was a lot of cleavage in this box and I'm not complaining. I also really love that I got a new hat.
