Character Description: Martina Zoana Mel Navratilova
Martina Zoana Mel Navratilova is the principle female antagonist of 'Slayers NEXT'. A princess of a kingdom threatening the kingdom of Saillune, she is an avid follower of the demon monster Zoamelgustar (a demon god she just made up). Her plans (really her father's) for conquering Saillune fell apart when Lina Inverse stepped into it and, using her Dragon Slave, blew apart the family castle. Since then, she has been living hand-and-foot, hoping for a chance to get even with Lina.
As for being a sorceress, Martina's really a below-average one, although she is good at casting effective curses. She briefly had a crush on Gourry, but was turned-off when she found out how stupid he was! However, on the rebound, she latched herself to Xelloss.
