Character Profile: Princess Sakura

Sakura is the Princess of the Kingdom of Clow. She has a very kind heart and is loved by all her people. Sakura is in love with Syaoran until her memories are scattered across many dimensions in the form of a feather. Toya (King of Clow) and Yukito (High Priest) tell Syaoran that Sakura will die without her feathers and that he, the "chosen one", must set out to collect her feathers.

Syaoran and Sakura (who is still unconscious) are transported to the dimensional witch Yuko where they meet Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona. Yuko says she can give Mokona to them so they can cross through dimensions if they each pay a price. Syaoran ends up having to give up his relationship with Sakura.

For the first episodes of Tsubasa Chronicle, Sakura is asleep. She eventually wakes up and says she does not remember anything other than her name and her country. As the series progresses she gains some memories back and tries to make sense of them but in the end she never remembers Syaoran. Whenever she comes close to remembering him she forgets what she was thinking about.

Even though Sakura has little memory, she tries to help in any way she can and touches many peoples' hearts.
