Character Description: Bart Garsus
Bart Garsus is the helmsman of the Nirvana. He is very cowardly in the first season. It is in the second season that he gets a lot bolder. He befriends a sick little girl and tells her stories. When she dies, he takes it really hard, but he honors her memory.
He has feelings for the commander, until he finds out the commander is really a man. Bart is very talkative and wants people to like him. After the final battle, Bart leaves with the others to find male candidates to try to live with women.
