Character Description: Ishizu Ishtar

Ishizu's family have been the tombkeepers to the Pharaoh for thousands of years. The latest generation, Marik and herself now hold this responsibility. However, due to Marik's plans for world domination, it is up to her and her millenium necklace to stop him. She gives Kaiba Obelisk the Tormenter in hopes of luring her brother to the Battle City Tournament and putting an end to his evil ways. She also as acts a link to the past, by relaying key information to both Yugi and Seto Kaiba, with regards to their past lives and their role in the saving of the world.

During the Battle City Finals, she dueled against Seto Kaiba, but lost due to the interference of Marik/Seto's Millenium Rod. However, she decides to give her millenium item to Yugi, figuring that it would better serve him. She still searches for a way to save her brother Marik from his evil Yami.

Ishizu is the reincarnation of Aishizu, who was a top priestess for Pharaoh Atemu.

Character Description: Ishizu Ishtar

Ishizu spends all of her childhood in a temple under the ground in Egypt, with her little brother, Marik. When she's fourteen or so, Marik is briefly possessed by his dark side, and ends up sending his father to the Shadow Realm.

Ishizu Ishtar is the director of the Ancient Egyptian exhibit in Domino, yet she is still very mysterious, and a darn good duelist. In the last few episodes of America's first season, Ishizu has a little chat with Kaiba about his past, which he refers to as "Egyptian History 101." Later, she does the same thing to Yugi, except he actually believes Ishizu.

Ishizu is actually the whole reason for the second season of Yu-Gi-Oh!, because she lends Kaiba her Egyptian God Card, Obelisk the Tormenter, and advises him to start the Battle City Tournament in an attempt to stop her brother Malik from gathering all three God Cards.

She shows up in the last few episodes of the season to duel Kaiba, in hopes that she'll get her God Card back, but she loses. Darn!

Isis owns the Millenium Tauk, which has the power to predict the future, but when she was defeated by Kaiba in the finals, the Millenium Tauk lost its power. Knowing that the item couldn't do anything for her now, she gave it to Yuugi.
