Character Profile: Yukari Tanazaki

Yukari Tanazaki works as an English language teacher at the same high school where she and Minamo Kurosawa (or Nyamo) had graduated from. She is qualified for the job, since she knows many languages. Her main problem is, although she is now grown up, she doesn't act grown-up. She is often very flighty, loses her temper a lot (especially when Osaka sleeps in class), and after hours drinks like there's no tomorrow, which often gets her very sick.

Yukari is always putting Minamo down, especially in matters of romance (Yukari should talk, since she's single also). She also gets into many wagers with Minamo, especially around the time of the sports festival, even though gambling is not allowed in school. She even had Kagura transfered to her class after her first year so that Minamo's class would have no advantage at the sports festival.

Yukari also sponges off Minamo after hours, often coming to her home to sleep in her bed, eating her food, and when the two go out, Yukari doesn't pick up the check (she makes Minamo pay for everything).
