Character Description: Tomonari Kasumi
Tomonari Kasumi is a popular player in "The World" called "Sieg". He got his name from the sword "Siegfried the Balmung" and chose his name because of Balmung of the Azure Sky. He was introduced to the game by Masaya, and has online friends, Kyo and Yuki-Chin, who later join forces with Mai and Tokuoka. Tomonari introduces Mai to the game, but they fall into comas, and he doesn't wake up until the end of the series.
Note: He makes appearances in .hack//INFECTION and .hack//QUARANTINE as Sieg.
