Character Description: Dr. Adashino
Dr. Adashino lives in a fishing village boarding the Pacific Ocean, and works as its doctor, tending to the villagers' medical needs. But he also has a hobby β collecting articles that are related to mushi. He has a sizable collection which he keeps in a secure shed.
On occasion, Ginko will visit him, offering him some mushi-related articles that he collected in his travels for much needed money. But Ginko is careful only to sell Adashino articles that are harmless. Occasionally, though, Adashino will buy an article that would prove to still have living mushi attached to it, which would cause harm to those stupid enough to test them out. An example, an inkstone which was carved from a mushi that eats moisture in clouds and falls to earth as hail. Some children had broken into Adashino's storage shed and tried to make ink from it, only to breathe in the mushi, which dropped their body temperature. Ginko was able to cure them by having their parents carry them up a mountainside until the altitude forced the mushi out.
