Character Description: Nobuchika Ginoza
A veteran in the the C.I.B., Nobuchika Ginoza as a strong dislike for individuals with high crime coefficients, and regards such people as little more than animals – which complicates matters with his father Tomomi Masaoka, who is also one of the Enforcers he supervises. Ginoza was also once Shinya Kogami's partner, until his obsession over the death of the Enforcer Mitsuru Sasayama caused Kogami's crime coefficient to rise and leading to Kogami's demothion.
Ginoza is also having his problems. The stress of the job – including the investigation of crimes masterminded by Shogo Makashima, is causing his own crime coefficient to rise close to danger levels. This stems mostly to abandonment issues involving his parents. Ginoza views Masaoka's demotion as a form of abandonment, and doesn't want to go the way of Masaoka and Kagami.
