Anime Profile: Beast Machines: Transformers

Beast Machines is the sequel to the Beast Wars: Transformers series, and takes place where the last series left off. After finally defeating Megatron on Earth, the Maximals left home for Cybertron, however their victory would be a short lived one. When they finally make it home to Cybertron, they discovered that their home has changed dramatically. They soon find out that things have taken a turn for the worst.

Megatron has completely taken over Cybertron! To make matters worse, many of the Maximals are mysteriously missing, leaving only Primal, Cheetor, Rattrap and Black Arachnia to fend for themselves. However, they become reformatted into new techno-organic forms by the Oracle and learn new methods of transforming in order to defeat their enemies.

But they go into a battle where they're seriously outnumbered. Megatron has developed his own mass army known as the Vehicons in order to enforce his rule. However, Primal and company discover new allies and old ones as well. As they unravel the truth behind Megatron's apparent takeover, the battle for Cybertron will dramatically change their world in ways they can't imagine.
