Description: Beast Wars: Transformers
Beast Wars is both a sequel and prequel to the original Transformers series. Taking place three hundred years after the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons, their descendants the Maximals and Predicons now reside in Cybertron. The Maximals (Autobot Descendents) have reigned as the main power of Cybertron and have created co-existance between the Predicons (Decepticon descendants).
However, one Predicon known as Megatron (named in honor of the Decepticon leader) steals a Cybertronian relic known as the Golden Disk. Sent to chase Megatron and the Predicons is Optimus Primal and his band of Maximals. After chasing down the Predicons, both teams of Transformers mysteriously land on a planet (which is later revealed to be Prehistoric Earth).
Trapped on the planet, the Beast Wars begin between the two factions. However, Megatron's ambitions grow bigger by the day, and the Beast Wars will soon erupt into a battle that could place the history of Cybertron and the fate of the entire universe at stake....
