Molly is a young girl who looks like Maria in Shadow's mind. Shadow actually saved Molly from a Metarex and she thought that he was a mysterious hero known on her home planet, Cascade, as Black Wind.

When Molly confronted Shadow to thank him, he completely acted as if it was nothing.

The same day that Shadow met Molly, she committed what could be considered suicide during an attack from the Metarex, which brought an image Maria back into Shadow's mind. After the fight, Shadow built a memorial which he went back to in episode 78 after using Chaos Control to move the Planet Egg.

In the English version of Episode 68, 4Kids Entertainment cut out Molly's death and made it look like she left the planet. In the French and Japanese versions of the episode, Molly died.
