When to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince today with the wife and her friends. It was enjoyable enough, though the end was rather anti-climatic, at least it was for the two of us. I was expecting more action than it had, and it just seemed like a long story for very little purpose.

Posted the character profile of Schneizel el Britannia (from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion). Modified the webpages so that they no longer use "quirks" mode. Hopefully you shouldn't notice any difference. Oh, and there was an outage the other day which was easily fixed by restarting the server, though I have no idea why it stopped working in the first place.

Posted the anime profile of Kamichama Karin.
Went to see the midnight showing of Brüno... and like Sacha Baron Cohen's previous film, Borat, there was definitely some shock value, uncomfortable situations, and many laugh-out-loud moments, but I don't think it matched the consistency of Borat... or maybe it was just because I had already seen Borat and knew some of what to expect. That might be the case, as I didn't find Borat quite as funny the second time around.

Today is my wife's birthday. Happy Birthday! For one of her presents, I got her a SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8 GB Video MP3 Player, as she really needed a newer MP3 player with higher capacity. I also got her Transformers Universe Mighty Muggs Megatron, just because she likes those kind of toys.

Got a call today from a lady named Yolanda about my request for trial by written declaration in regards to the traffic citation I was issued. After looking over my paperwork, she said it was obvious that I was not the one driving the vehicle. Then she tried several times to get me to call the police department and tell them who was driving the vehicle, telling me that I had to tell them or else I would have to pay the fine and my license would be suspended and all these other threats. It's just plain despicable that they're allowed to do that. And not just allowed, I'm sure they're instructed to do that. So I had to pay the bail amount, $415, and now have to wait 4-6 weeks after a possible 90 day wait for a judge to find in my favor before I get my money back... even though it is quite obvious that I have done nothing wrong. No wonder people hate the government.
